Sydney Socks

AND, why would I call these socks "Sydney" socks?  Sydney, my new and FIRST granddaughter, was born on June 1 and I was knitting these through labor and delivery:o))  The yarn is Regia Silk and WOW, how nice to knit!  I knit them together with Magic Loop and enjoyed the process.  Usually, I knit one at a time, but lately, with sooo much knitting going on, I was afraid to do only one and never getting to the second.
