Knit 1, Crochet Too- Paintbox - A WINNER!

Paintbox01 I'm in LOVE - again!  We received many colors of the new yarn, Paintbox.  Some of our customers... and I, got so excited when the box was opened that I have had to order MORE already!  I am making a felted back pack with this yarn, #01 Thistle, and there are so many more things I want to make in some of the other colors... Am I in trouble or what?!?!?! Pattern says 6 skeins, but I am thinking maybe 5.

Folkshawls - Sampler Shawl

Swatch_night_061 Pam came in today with yet another finished garment.  Would you believe she finished this while moving?!?!  This is the Sampler Shawl from the book, "Folkshawls" by Cheryl Oberle.  Her yarn of choice was Lorna's Laces sock yarn.  I debated all summer about what to use for this same shawl.  There is a folkshawls list on the internet doing a knitalong with this and I wanted to participate.  I didn't because I was struggling over the yarn to use and the yarn was sitting in front of me the entire time....  Pam, you did great! Next time, please let me take a picture of your face too!

Nate's Babies and Bears Sweater

Dsc_6564mod1 My new grandson NEEDS a sweater even if he does live in Tampa.  Trouble is, he is one BIG boy already.  Hope they have a cool day before he outgrows this.  I just LOVE Butterfly Cotton!  Each stitch always looks so perfect and special... just like the proud owner of the sweater:o)

Debbie's Shawl

P1010259 Debbie was visiting her family this week and came in on Mon. to get "inspiration."  She bought the yarn to make this wonderful shawl and was kind enough to send me a picture when she got home.  It's knitted with Berocco Hip Hop and Rowan Kid Silk Haze.  She said she finished it in a very short time!  Nice, huh?!?!?  Thanks, Debbie!
